Learn to Knit: Fingerless Mitts Class taught by Amy Gallmeyer

This class will teach the student the basics of knitting while making fingerless mitts. Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, how to make a gauge swatch, bind off, seam and more!

Prerequisites: No previous knitting experience is necessary!

Skills Taught: Long tail cast on, knit and purl stitches, binding off and mattress stitch.

Dates: Saturday, October 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 10a-12noon.

Cost: $140.00

Class size: Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8.

Materials: To be purchased at GarenHuis Yarn Studio.

Yarn: 200 yards of any worsted weight yarn.

Needle: US 8 straight needle. A short wooden needle is recommended.

Buttons: 2 (bring these from home)
